Luke looks like such a big boy here :( where did my baby go?

Grandma & Luke. Cute picture except for the darn jones

So I know I have been missing lately. We have been VERY busy and I haven't had time to sit down and write down all the goings on.

We celebrated our first Christmas with Luke! We had such a great time. Our holiday festivities started on Wednesday 12/23. We went over to our neighbors house for dinner before going to church. Our church did a service on the 23rd in addition to the regular Christmas Eve services. When we got to Church we met up with Lindsay and her family and friends. Luke got to stay with us during Worship but then we moved him to the nursery for the first time. He loved it! I was a little sad thinking he might want us during the service but apparently he was having way too much fun. After church we went to Lindsay's house for dessert. Had a wonderful time and she gave Luke the most awesome present, a wooden growth chart with his name on it and it has slots down the whole thing to put pictures in. It really is the coolest thing EVER!

Christmas Eve we went out and picked up some last minute things (mainly stocking stuffers for Jason and I). Then we went to my Grandmas to celebrate birthdays for Mike & Joy. We dressed Luke up in his Santa outfit from Jason's Aunt Sue. It was so cute! I had already bought him a Santa hat so we added that to the outfit and he made the cutest darn santa ever. He got to open one of his presents from Grandma and Papa. It was some maracas that light up and sing and say numbers and letters. He loved them! Luke fell asleep on the way home that night but that didn't last long. He was awake from 9:30 until Midnight. Seriously it was like he knew he was supposed to be excited because he was crazy. He jumped in his Jumperoo for over an hour while I wrapped some gifts (I love wrapping gifts so I like to break it up and do it over a few nights.) Then while Jason had to wrap a last minute gift for me I took Luke to our bed to try and get him to start to calm down but that didn't work for quite some time.

Christmas morning! We woke up and opened our stockings. Luke got a few different balls and some books in his. Then my mom and dad came over and we opened some presents before heading to my Grandmas. Luke really got overwhelmed. He just wanted to play with what was already open so we have 5 more gift that we are hanging on to for a little while.
What a crazy holiday season. We went to several parties all of which Luke was great at. For my holiday open house at work our friends Sara, Mike, and their baby boy Lincoln came for a visit from Florida. Lincoln was so darn cute! His eyes are the bluest I have ever seen they are so beautiful! Wish we could have seen them longer and let the boys play on the ground but they had lots of people to see out here in CA maybe next time!

We will miss you Aunt Gemma.

Tonight my Aunt (and Godmother) passed away. After suffering from pancreatic cancer for over a year, peace came over her tonight and she went to live with our Lord and Savior. I just had to repost these pictures of her and Luke. Although he will never remember her I am very thankful we were able to see her one last time and get pictures of the two together. I will always remember her as being a babysitter for all of us cousins while our parents would go to Vegas or Laughlin. She was awesome!

Thanksgiving and more!

Well Luke had his first Thanksgiving (wow isn't that obvious). We dressed him up in the cutest outfit ever well at least in my opinion and went to my grandmas for dinner. Luke sat at the table with the rest of us thanks to a high chair my grandparents bought when Michaela was little and his menu included peas, sweet potatos, and a pumpkin apple blend. He really enjoyed it. When he was all done with his dinner we gave him some apple flavored puffs. This was the first finger type food we have given him. He had a blast moving them around the tray and picking them up and throwing them or handing them to us but had no interest in actually eating them. He really hates the taste of them. I thought maybe it was just those ones so I bought banana ones also but he still refuses to put them in his mouth and if you try he will spit it out, but he really enjoys playing with them. Its nice to have him sit in his high chair and play with puffs while you clean up the kitchen.

Luke is just about crawling. He gets on his hands and knees but then goes back to his belly. I'm a bad mom. I'm trying to keep him off the floor because I don't want him to crawl before we get a video camera. We are working on it. My mom is going to give us money towards one for Christmas and we are in the process of picking one. We went out searching today. We have it narrowed down so hopefully we get it soon. I still do let him play on the floor I just really want a video camera to capture his first real crawl.

Luke has also gotten a lot more vocal in the last couple days. He squeals all day long. The night of Thanksgiving Luke did not sleep. It could be because he is still sick or maybe he is teething but as I was driving around town at 3 in the morning to try and get him to fall asleep I realized we should really be out shopping! Jason had wanted to get his brother something that was on sale and was planning on leaving the house around 4 but I went home and got him up and we went. I have never been to a black Friday sale and can't believe the amount of people waiting in line for stuff. Some people were there since the night before. We got what we went for (along with a few other things). When we got home since I was up with Luke most of the night Jason let me go to sleep. I woke up a few hours later because at first I thought Luke was screaming but he was actually squealing. I got up and walked out there to see him and he started laughing. It was so cute. He is so funny now! You know its really funny because they start babbling more and doing stuff and you think they are getting so big and doing so much then they do even more!

I have had so much fun shopping for him for Christmas. We got him a stand up music table. He loves to stand and since he is starting to hold on to stuff I thought this is great for him, a push toy that he can push around or play with on the ground, it also has a lot of music stuff, a see and say which are way better than the ones we had growing up, some pj's, lots of books, and a big car for his stocking. I keep saying I'm done but I keep finding stuff! I still want to get this foam mat and I just saw a new leapfrog toy (I love the leapfrog toys he has a couple that he loves) that is called my pal scout and its a stuffed dog that is very soft and it has all types of music you can download and it helps with their first words and all kinds of stuff. I think Luke would like it because he loves his sock monkey and really cuddles with it so I think I'm going to have to get that one too!

Well here are some pics from Thanksgiving. Later this week I will post some of the professional pics we did for now you get my handy work!

7 month Stats!

Thanks for reminding me Sara! At Luke's 7 month visit he was weighing in at 16lbs 11oz and 26 1/4 inches. He has gone from the 5th percentile to the 25th which I guess is good. The appointment was great! The doctor spent lots of time with us and answered al l my silly questions. I asked is it was ok for him to sleep with his blanket now and the doc said not until tonight! I'm still a paranoid freak about it though. I usually let him fall asleep with a blanket and his monkey then take it away.

Luke also surprised the doctor. For months now when lying on the floor or sitting in the boppy he does what I call crunches. He tries to sit up from a laying down position. He has been getting better and all of a sudden while the doctor had him on his back Luke sat all the way up! It was amazing. The doctor said he had incredible stomach muscles and put him back down to see if he would do it again. He tried but ended up cheating by using his elbow. I'm glad the visit went well. I knew I loved the doctor but with all the drama I had been going through with the office staff its nice to know that when I do finally get with the doctor its a good experience.

Gotta go now Luke is not feeling well and wants my attention.

7 Months!

Can't believe my little guy is 7 months old today. Only 5 more to go until he is 1 year old. Wow I won't know what to do with myself when that happens. I already got a little teary eyed today when I was thinking about how fast time is going and how big he is getting. I told him he could slow down now but I don't think he understood me. I have decided that as I remember all the horrible things that come with pregnancy and after the c section I'm going to write it down so it when I think I want another baby right now I can get over it. Today's memory is a week after having Luke and I broke out in a rash all over my body. It was so itchy and miserable and there was nothing the doctor could do about it. Oh yeah and the swelling. The end of my pregnancy was bad but nothing compared the two weeks afterwards. I could barely walk. I remember just shuffling my feet through the hallway holding Luke in the middle of the night afraid I was going to drop him. I think after those two things I'm cured from wanting another baby for now!

Well on this very special day today my little guy woke up very sick. He has a horrible cough, definitely the worst one he has had so far. Kind of sounds like croup. I guess we will see today. We already had Luke's 7 month visit where he would get his vaccinations and hopefully the flu shot booster (he's not due for the swine flu booster for another few weeks). I don't know that they will give him his vaccinations today now that he is sick. I'm bummed because my cousin Jesse and his wife Valerie and their little girl Ava are supposed to stay with us this weekend. I really wanted Luke his happy usual self. Today he is very low key and mellow. Its very sad to see him like this. He is not running a fever but is whining a lot. Poor baby.

I know I need to post some pictures. We got the proofs back from the photo shoot we did at our house but I'm waiting to get the cd of the pics before I post them. They are fantastic! She did a really good job I love them!

Thank Goodness Daddy is finally home!

The last few days have been mommy and Luke time. Jason went to LA to a baseball camp for college umpires. The first couple of days were great. Luke was being his funny happy self. We hung out with Grandma (and Papa for a few minutes) on Wednesday. Thursday we went to the doctors to get Luke's swine flu shot. I am proud to say he cried for a half a second then was smiling at the guy who gave him the shot.

Friday we had lots of fun. We went to the zoo with Aunt Loralyn and Aurora. We may not have seen all the animals but mommy and Loralyn got lots of talking time in and we had a wonderful lunch that we packed and took to the park. When we got back to Loralyn's house Luke and Rory played on the floor together. Rory is going to start crawling any minute! Luke is still far from it (but I'm not in any hurry because Iam not ready to chase after him!). We ended up having to leave because Luke was being naughty and kept taking Rory's book away and making her cry.

One thing we are having a hard time with is telling him NO. He throws tantrums every time we say no. I know he doesn't get it yet but there are things he should not be playing with (like mommys pump when she is hooked up to it and various other things that are dangerous). My mom thinks he is too young but she did hear him today on the phone when I told him no he started to scream! I think we are in for it. Our kid knows what he wants and doesn't care if we say no.

Today was rough. I don't know whats wrong with the little man but he screamed all day today. Everything I did was not the right thing. I tried holding him (this was the best option for the most part of the day), I tried the moby, the jumperoo, excersaucer, bouncer nothing helped for more than a few minutes. I actually got all ready to take him in the car for a little while because I knew he needed a nap. Once I strapped him in he fell asleep! Then we started all over again. When Daddy came home he got very very excitd for about 5 minutes then back to mr. cranky pants! I know his mouth is bothering him so I'm hoping its the teeth finally coming through. He has been teething for 3 months and his doctor saw at his 4 month visit the bump on his bottom gum but nothing has popped out yet :(

Happy Halloween

Luke had lots of fun on his first Halloween. We dressed him up and surprised Great Grandma and Great Grandpa by trick or treating there before we headed to see Ryan, Loralyn, and Aurora at their Halloween party. They were definately surprised and thought he was so cute in his monkey costume. He decided he had some things to say to them and talked like a wild little man.

When we got to the Cross house before the party started I went up to Rory's room to pump and then as I was coming down the stairs I heard a baby laughing hysterically. Well since Luke only does a couple of giggles at a time I thought it was Rory. Nope it was him. He was laughing at Guinness (Loralyn's dog) and kept going and going and going. It was truely the funniest thing I've heard ever! He thought she was hilarious for some reason.

On Friday we had our pictures taken and Lisa was fantastic. She was so sweet and patient with us. I can't wait to see the pictures. Last night I came home from the party and she had emailed me 1 of the pics we did with her and it made my night. Here it is:

By the way he was a monkey. His ears wouldn't stay out so some people didn't know what he was.

I'm so bummed...

So a friend of mine is a flight attendant for South West airlines and she came in today and told me about deals they have with flights as low as $25 per flight in December. Immediatley I ran to the computer and looked and sure enough flights were $25 to go to Tulsa, which is where I would fly in to go to visit my family in Arkansas. I thought we could go for my birthday. I was trying to get an ok from Jason but he was saying he couldn't go until he was off from work for the Holidays. I told him that maybe Luke and I could just go or he could make up work while their office is closed. I then called another Aunt from San Diego and she was thinking of coming too. If Jason came with Luke and I it would have been $142.70 round trip for all 3 of us!!! Iwas so excited. Within 2 hours they sold out and now its over $200 per person. That would have been so awesome. Now I'm plotting how I can possibly get back to Arkansas. I won't really be able to take a vacataion after December for at least 5 or 6 months so it would have been awesome to go there now. I guess I will have to start saving up to go out in the summer. Hopefully next time we can stay longer than we did last time! Guess I will just have to be patient.

Monkeys at the zoo

So Friday Jason and I took Luke to see the monkeys at the zoo (and all the other animals but we really like monkeys!). We were hoping that Luke was finally interested in the zoo all and all the animals since he has now become so aware of everything. Well we got to the Orangutan exhibit and there was one sitting right in front of the glass staring us straight in the eye and Luke couldn't have cared less. He was however watching the Bonobos running a muck in the background and thought it was particularly funny when a bonobo came running up and stole the branch the oranutan was chewing on. That was about it for his entertainment level. He was however interested in people watching and trying (although mama and daddy said so no way) to touch everything in sight.
That is what we spend our days doing now. Trying to tell him no when he touches things he is not supposed to. Right now he smiles really big when you tell him no and then I laugh and Jason gets mad at me. I know Jason is right and I shouldn't laugh but when I see that huge smile on that little man I can't help but laugh.
Luke has finally mastered the Jumperoo. For about a month and a half now we would sit him in it (with towels underneath becuase he was too short) and he would just sit there and not move. Finally the other day I sat him in it and went outside to switch the laundry and when I walked in I heard the music playing (which starts when you jump) sure enough I look over at him and he had the biggest smile and was jumping away. Now he thinks he is a pro!
Here are a few pictures of our adventures from the zoo.

My sweet little man is 6 months old!

How in the world did we get here so fast. I always thought about the day he would turn 6 months but I had no idea it would come up so quickly. We are having so much fun with him right now. He is being so sweet and cuddly.

We had a great weekend. We had friends over on Saturday for games and Luke got to hang out with his buddies Jaylee (Jaylen) and Rory (Aurora). Jaylee and Luke are so funny together because they love to grab at each other. Luke did so good and stayed awake until 11:30 on Saturday until he just fell asleep as I was holding him on my hip. He just kind of passed out. He rarely has done that, normally he would stay up late and get so tired that he would fight us on sleeping by screaming for awhile. The next morning Luke and I headed to Lake Morena (I haven't been there in at least 10 years!) for an H2O at home party. It went very well and Luke was hilarious. He was sitting on the couch with my mom just looking at all the ladies and smiling at everyone. He thinks he is so big now that he can sit up (not on his own but when we sit him up he stays). While we were in Lake Morena daddy was supposed to be studying. Not sure how much of that he got done but at least he got some peace and quiet!

Looking forward to the weeks ahead. We are going to have pictures taken on October 30. A lady is coming to our house and is going to take pictures of Luke in his room and then possibly outside if possible. Hopefully he is good that day and rests in the morning so he is amped to smile and have fun in the afternoon. Then the next day is Halloween! I can't wait to get the babies together in their costumes. We are going to Ryan, Loralyn, and Rory's party that we do every year. Rory is going to be a flower and Boston is going to be a turtle (so cute now that he is crawling) and Luke will be a little monkey.

Last night I put Luke down on his playmat like I always do and walked into the kitchen to wash some bottles and when I turned around to check on him he was gone. I walked out into the living room to find him no where near the playmat and completely off the rug in our living room. I have no idea how he did it. I think he just scooted his way off. This weekend we are going to get a baby gate and some other safety supplies. I remember Jason and I talking right when we found out I was pregnant about needing gates and I told him don't worry about it we are still at least a year away from needing that stuff. Guess its finally time.

So bummed that neither Jason or myself will be with Luke on his 6 month birthday. I have to take him to daycare to go to work and then I pick him up and rush to get all his stuff ready so my mom can come watch him while I go to Temecula for a meeting for H2O at home and Jason goes to class. At least I know he will get lots and lots of attention from Grandma.

Crazy little man

So Luke is a crazy little man these days. He is super funny and doing so much its hard to let him play on his own long enough to get something done around the house. He is sitting up for a few minutes at a time (not on his own but if you sit him up he stays put). He loves it. In fact his biggest problem is that he gets too excited and starts moving his arms like crazy and he loses his balance. I'm also terrified that he will crawl soon. He wants to move around so badly. I'm not ready for that yet.

I think I may be in BIG trouble with this kid. Him and I went shopping the othere day and I told him I would buy him 1 toy so I found the old school stack of rings and it was on sale for less than $5 so I thought I would just get that. I set it on top of his stroller until I found the cutest little baseball and baseball tee for 6months and up. It was $10 but really cute so I grabbed and went to put the stack of rings back but little man started whining and trying to grab it until I gave it to him. Needless to say I caved and got both! I haven't opened the baseball toy yet (waiting for his 6 month birthday next week) but he loves the rings.

This weekend we had two birthday parties. Jackson and Brody both turned 2! I can't believe it. We had lots of fun. Luke wore his Rock Star shirt and jeans to Brody's party and was super cute!

Luke has been doing great at eating his food. He has now had Apples with banana, carrots, sweet potatoes, avocado, prunes, pears, and as of last night squash. I had to give him a couple jars of prunes because we could not find organic prunes at the grocery store and little man was constipated. I think it had to be the bananas. He is definitely not constipated anymore in fact the complete opposite. His babysitter had to give him a bath yesterday because he had a major blow out and it was all over and it got in his hair as she took the shirt off (seriously it was all over up his arms and up the entire back poor Melissa). No more prunes for him for awhile!

This weekend is very busy for us. I have to work on Saturday and Jason has a game so Grandma is going to come spend a few hours with Luke. Later that night we are having some friends over for game night. Sunday I have my second H2O at home get together. I'm tired already! Grandma is going to watch Luke for us on Tuesday also because I have a business meeting in Temecula and Jason has class. It will be her first time watching him at night for us. Too bad Jason and I were "working" and not doing something fun together. Maybe Grandma will watch him for our second anniversary in November.

Yes I'm silly and like to make lots of faces and noises

So happy!

Silly Boy

Well Luke is in a silly mood lately. He thinks he is so funny. He will make funny little sounds and then look at us because he knows we will laugh. He has been so much fun. He is growing so big and he is starting to throw little tantrums. When he gets really mad and doesn't want to do something he arches his back and cries. He is even doing it at the babysitters.

He didn't sleep well for the babysitter all week until today. He did get carrots for the first time last night and Jason couldn't feed him fast enough. He loved the carrots but would whine big time if you were slow getting the next bite in his mouth. Today he ate a pretty big bowl of carrots and apples with banana. He ate it so fast and still wanted more.

We have a very busy weekend. Jackson and Brody are turning 2 so we have a birthay party on Saturday and one on Sunday. Brody's party is Rock Star themed so Luke has been saving his Rock Star shirt just for this occasion. Hopefully it will be a little cool on Sunday like its been all week so he can wear it since its long sleeve.

I had a really good H2O at home show. Actually only a few people showed up to my demonstration that I did at April's house but afterwards she sold a ton of stuff on her own. I'm thinking I need her to sign up as an Advisor because she is so good!

My sick little man

Well Luke has come down with his first cold. I knew it was coming. I wasn't feeling very well a couple of days ago and at daycare there was a cough and running nose going through the gang. He is pretty miserable today although he is still happy. He just kind of moans and whines a little and wants to be held. He woke up quite a bit last night but I would just get up and give him his jones (pacifier) and he would go back to sleep. At 4:30 this morning he woke up and I brought him to lay with me where we both slept until 7. We were supposed to go see his buddy Jaylen today so I could get ready for my first Get Green Together Party but since he didn't feel well we don't want to get Jaylee sick too.

My Aunt Cathy gave me a recipe for applesauce that is raw and natural that I made today. I used 1 and a half apples and 1 banana and a little bit of water and it was so good. Luke loved it. I did too! I think I like it better than the applesauce we buy in the little containers.

As I mentioned above tomorrow is my first Get Green event that I am doing by myself. I am a little nervous! I have another scheduled for October 18 too so hopefully tomorrow goes well.

5 months!

Luke has been here for 5 months now. I can't believe how time flies. I know I say this practically every week but still it does. We had a wonderful day as a family yesterday on Luke's 5 month birthday. We went to a really awesome place called Santee Lakes and fed the ducks some old bread we had and walked around exploring the place since Jason and I both had never been there before. We are seriously discussing having Luke's first birthday party there. They have play areas for kids including a little mini water playground and rock wall for them to climb. They have lots of picnic tables and a clubhouse. I know we have 7 more months until his birthday but we did have to decide on a day for his party yesterday too. Jason will start umpiring college games this year and they needed his schedule that he is available from January through June. So we had to figure out the birthday party and what Saturdays I would need to work and him take off to watch Luke. Hopefully it all works out or we will have to ask my mom to watch him.

Luke got his first real baby food yesterday (other than rice cereal). We started with Sweet Potatoes. I am making all of Lukes food so we went shopping yesterday to buy some organic veggies. So far I have made zucchini and squash from Becca's garden and the sweet potatoes. I made so many sweet potatoes that I'm going to give some to Loralyn for my precious Rory. By the way making baby food is SO easy. So worth it! Luke did not like the first bite but then he warmed up to the idea and ate the whole bowl (it wasn't really that much). Today he was really hungry and just wanted his milk so he only had a couple bites. I have lots of pictures to update but I left my camera in his room and he just went to sleep so I will do a photo post soon.

21 weeks!

So there has been so much going on. We haven't had a free moment. Luke is growing and doing so much now. He is 21 weeks old. He even cracks himself up. He is working on all kinds of new sounds he can make and sometimes he thinks they are very funny and he knows they make us laugh so he does them and then laughs. He has changed SO much the last week. He is tearing it up in his excersaucer banging around on things. He seems to get a little hyper after his bath right now. We have a little routine of bath and then I lay him in his crib and turn on the mobile and lotion him up head to toe while he is talking and kicking and laughing. After that it used to be bed time but now its play time for a little while and then bed.

Luke is also going through the dreaded teething. I feel bad because there are just days where he is miserable and just moans and whines. He constantly has a fist in his mouth chewing away and you have to be very careful when your finger is anywhere near his face because he will find it and chomp down hard. He loves his teething rag and really is getting into his Raffi (Sophie the giraffe teething toy). Today he was a little more uncomfortable than usual so we had to give him some tylenol while at daycare. Poor baby!

My best friend Loralyn brought to my attention today that she calculated that at her current rate of pumping (breastmilk) of 5 times a day if she kept it up for a year that would equal 20 full days worth of pumping. I did my own little calculations of my own. For Luke's first 3 and a half months when he was still getting up in the middle of the night I had pumped over 800 times and about 8 and half full days. Wow! If I were to continue until my sweet boy is 1 year old (like I originally planned while still pregnant and had the glorious dream that nursing would be easy) I would have spent about 25 days pumping. Wow if that were my job I would have made over $12,500.00 from the 600 hours of pumping in a year! Wow could I get a job pumping?!?

In other news our lives have just changed a little bit. I have been told by work that I will be forced to cut my hours down. I will now only be working 3 days a week. There are two sides of this and the first side is that I'm happy to spend more time with Luke but the other side is I know it will be a struggle financially and I don't want Jason to stress out about it. I actually feel bad for my daycare lady because I told her we would be there 4 days a week and now we will only be there 2 so she is going to be out $55 per week. She has a baby on the way and I'm sure it has stressed her out as well. Seems unreal to me that this is actually happening. I have been there for 9 years and can't believe after all this time we are haivng to do this.

I also had my launch party for H2O at home. Thanks to all those that came and especially to April who booked my first party. I will be giving my very own demo on October 3rd! At this point I really need to start booking some parties because we really need the money. I have been using the products in my kit and really love them! There is this dishwasher pouch and it has these beads in there and all you have to do is pump a little of their regular dishsoap on it and put it on the top rack and your dishes come out sparkling clean. No more dishwashing detergent for me! I'm loving everything I've tried so far.

Lots going on in the Kaminsky house

So when we were at the doctors he said to start rice cereal at 5 months unless Luke stopped sleeping through the night. Well he had stopped plus he was eating 5oz every 2 hours so we decided to give him a little cereal. The first couple of days we gave it to him in his bottle but on Monday his high chair arrived and so we went for it. Here are some pics and a video of him eating. He sure seems to like it, although when it first goes in his mouth he makes a horrible face then he will smile after that.

First Bite

Over the weekend my work had a little pool party at the Chandler's house. We had lots of fun (Mommy may have had a tad too much as usual when I'm hanging with the ECLAP crew). Luke and Jason really enjoyed their time in the pool.

So this weekend Luke decided he was tired of trying to roll over without success so on Saturday Jason and I put him down for a nap. We were in the kitchen and all of a sudden we hear a noise through the monitor. When Jason looks at the video he says to me, well he is on his stomach. We grab the camera and run in there to find little man very proud of himself for finally doing it. Now the problem is he hates being on his stomach so everynight we have to get up several times to roll him back over and put the pacifier in his mouth so that he doesn't wake up all the way. Sometimes it works and sometimes he screams and won't go back to sleep. I'm hoping this stops soon because I'm tired.

This is what we saw when we walked in his room

So in other news I have started a new business and I'm very excited about it. I'm having a launch party on September 11th. I will be selling products for a company called H2O at home. The company has been in France for 12 years and they sell cleaning products that are either all natural or tools that you just need to use water with. Since I got pregnant it made me start to think more and more about things like cleaners with chemicals in them around my baby. Not to mention when I scrub my floors on my hands and knees Sophie follows me the whole time often walking on the wet part and I don't want her to go lick her feet after that. I am part of a team with Valerie and her sister Kristen. I went to Kristen's launch party and then I instantly decided I wanted to do this because I believe in the products. It took more convincing for Jason but he went to Val's launch party to check it out and when we got home he said go for it. It is basically like a Pampered Chef or Cookie Lee type of thing where I get people to host parties so I can share the products with them. I at first just wanted to join so I could get the starter kit but now I'm excited and hope that I can build my business up and possibly stay home with Luke one day. I am getting in with the U.S. company in the beginning and am considered a "founder". Right now there are only about 168 people in the U.S. selling these products. If you are interested in learning more about the products here is my website: http://www.myh2oathome.com/Nicole
